Saugatuck Buildersis a custom residential builder based in Saugatuck, Michigan. We work the lakeshore from South Haven up through Grand Haven — building lakefront retreats, barndominiums, full renovations, and the occasional architectural commercial project. We've been doing this since 2015.

Conversation before specifications.
Every project begins the same way — with a long conversation about how you live before we start drawing what you'll build. It's why our houses tend to feel inevitable, not configured.

One project manager, one point of contact.
You get a single person who owns the project end-to-end. Weekly written updates, line-item pricing, and every change order walked through before a dime is spent.

Craftspeople we've known for years.
Our framing lead, our finish carpenters, our tile installer, our plaster artisan — most of them have been working with us for a decade. Finish work this careful takes long relationships.
- 04
A limited number of projects per year.
We'd rather take three custom homes and do them beautifully than six and let the quality slip. If we're a fit, we're fully committed. If we're not, we'll tell you up front.
