Barndominiums have quietly become one of the smartest ways to build on rural West Michigan land. We build them the way they should be built — engineered post-frame structure, proper envelope, plumbing and electrical sized for full residential loads, interior finished to the same standard as a custom home.

A good barndominium gives you the flexibility of a post-frame footprint, the exterior of a traditional barn, and the interior of a high-end custom home — often at a cost-per-square-foot that makes architects jealous. Done poorly, they feel like insulated warehouses. The difference is entirely in the envelope, the mechanicals, and the finish work.
We build barndominiums across West Michigan — Allegan, Ottawa, and Van Buren counties — from 2,000-square-foot shop-houses to 5,000-square-foot primary residences with fully separate workshop wings. Engineered post-frame design, closed-cell spray foam envelope, residential-grade mechanicals, and the same cabinetry, stone, and finish carpentry we use in our custom homes.
